A morning beauty full of lovely roses. Can a day start better than this? It was like a beautiful dream on this wonderful morning in Venice. So beautiful and delicate in a peaceful mood. Thank you very much Sophie for these unforgettable moments at the Carnevale di Venezia 2023. You made so many photographers happy this year.

This photo of Sophie probably marks the end of this year's Carnevale series. I realize that not everyone likes it, which isn't a problem for me, but I'd like to come back here at a later date so it doesn't become too much to present everything at once. It may well be that at the end a picture of Venice itself will come to the fore. Let's see...
Thank you very much for your great support and the many kind and appreciative words about this series. I'm really grateful for that because I put a lot of time and enthusiasm into this work. For me it was more than worth it. This resulted in new friendships.
