Mercitalia Rail deviato! - a photo on Flickriver

            Durante la chiusura dell'asse del Sempione, tra Agosto e l'inizio di Settembre 2020, alcuni treni combinati destinati a Novara Boschetto erano stati deviati via Brennero-Milano-Novara.
Nella foto, due E405 (033 e 005) di Mercitalia Rail sono fotografate tra Trecate e Novara, alla testa di uno di questi treni.

Due to scheduled works on the lines reaching the Simplon Tunnel and on the tunnel itself (from August 16th to September 6th 2020), some freight trains to Novara Boschetto were derouted on different paths.
In particular, some intermodal trains were derouted through Brenner-Milan-Novara.
It is the case of this Mercitalia Rail intermodal train, seen here between Trecate and Novara and hauled by E405.033 and E405.005.
