VIPERA DEL GABON --- GABON VIPER - a photo on Flickriver

Questa mattina, nella laguna di ABY, area di Assinie, in una pista, sono sceso dal mio 4x4, per avvicinarmi all'acqua, per vedere se ci fossero aironi.
Dopo i primi passi, ho i vizio di guardare sempre molto sia per terra che nei cespugli, eccola qui : UNA VIPERA DEL GABON.
Uno dei serpenti più velenosi in Africa.
Non è enorme ( potrebbe arrivare a oltre i 2m e un peso di attorno 10Kg.) : un po' più di 1,5 m.
Questa vipera è abbastanza "tranquilla", basta stare lontana attorno a 1m, perché è molto veloce allo scatto. I suoi denti veleniferi è lungo 5 cm.
Ho fatto qualche scatto è ho cambiato direzione.

This viper is quite "quiet", just stay away around 1m, because it is very quick to shoot. His venomous teeth is 5 cm long.
