The story of this photo:
Charlottenburg Palace (German: Schloss Charlottenburg) is the largest palace in Berlin. It was commissioned by Sophie Charlotte, the wife of Friedrich III, Elector of Brandenburg in 1696 as a summer residence. In the beginning, it was much smaller. Over the years, it was extended into a palace.

Unfortunately, my time is limited at the moment. So, I do not get to answer all the questions you pose in your comments, and I may not get to comment your photos as much as I should. Thanks very much for all your kind and encouraging feedback. I appreciate it a lot.

> Three exposures (-1, -3, +1 ev) autobracketed and merged to get and HDR
> Camera: Nikon D90
> Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3,5-5,6G ED VR

How it was tonemapped:
> Preparation: developed the raw files with ACR mainly in order to reduce the CA [details]
> Resulting TIF images were then used as input to Photomatix
> Tone-mapping: Photomatix Pro 4.0 (Detail Enhancer)

How it was post-processed:
> Post-processing was done in Photoshop
> Topaz Adjust on the entire image to get back the colors and the details [details]
> Topaz Denoise (more aggressively on the sky) [details]
> Levels layer on the sky (brightening)
> Fixed uneven luminance in the sky [details]
> Saturation layer on the sky (master, hue)
> Saturation layer on the clouds (slight desaturation)
> Saturation layer on the palace (yellows)
> Photo filter layer on the palace (orange)
> Curves layer on the water (contrast, enhancing reflections)
> Saturation layer on the water (master)
> Saturation layer on the palace reflections (yellows)
> Photo filter layer on the palace reflections (orange)
> Retouch (removing the blue tube in the fountain)
> Levels layer on the greens (brightening)
> Saturation layer on the greens (yellows)
> Vignette effect using a masked fill layer (more intense on the lower half) [details]
> Sharpening using the high-pass filter [details]
> Watermarking
