Spotted Salamander (Ambystoma maculatum)

            Spotted Salamanders are a common species in Georgia. This one was found in a floodplain where the was eveidence of recently breeding with eggs both out and exposed in the open and beneath logs. Adults were found under nearly every log in the right area.,
