Monument Valley | The Vast Expanse - a photo on Flickriver

            Whilst browsing through photos trying to find a specific shot, I found this one from Monument Valley taken last October when I was there on holiday with my dad, and thought I'd post it seeing as it wasn't amongst the selection I uploaded at the time.

There really aren't any words that do justice to the scale and sheer immensity of this view, and just how breathtaking it was to see it in person for the first time. It's like being on another planet, especially for someone like me who lives and works in a big city all the time.

Still one of the absolute highlights of the trip for both me and Dad ...
