Meet My Friend, Robin. - a photo on Flickriver

            An almost studio type portrait of a New Zealand north island Robin. This was taken at Bushy Park near Whanganui. 

Often these tiny and very inquisitive birds are hidden within the dark shadows of the bush, so I felt this image reflected that as well. These little birds are largely grey and white in colour, so lend themselves beautifully to a mono image.
