Great Blue Heron Rookery - a photo on Flickriver

            A man-made structure at the edge of the Great Salt Lake is well used this time of year by the Great Blue Herons.   Squawks and groans are heard almost constantly and the young ones are beginning to socialize with neighbors.  
I could sit for hours watching their antics.
