            Reworking a favourite 2007 photo from Devon, west of Edmonton AB Canada.

Prairie winter sunrises are my favourite. The key is to find your subject before the sun rises (to be ready to catch the pink sky and the blue snow).

This photo taken before the workday started, at -30C, from inside the pickup, with the heater full on full and the window rolled down just half way.
.
Living in Alberta so many years, I liked the winter the best. But a quote in the Globe and Mail I saw said something like...those who like the winter really just like to brave the winter. That's me.
