Scone Palace Deer

            which would appear to be woven from wicker or something similar. Standing outside the Chapel on the Moot or Boot Hill. I rather like these deer. The stone block in the distance to the left of frame is a replica of the Stone of Destiny/Stone of Scone/Coronation stone.

The chapel is a small Presbyterian chapel restored in the Gothic style about 200 years ago. However, unlike most Presbyterian chapels in Scotland which are minimalist in terms of decor, this one contains several ostentatious funerary monuments like those in most old English churches.

Single shot processed in Lightroom, and separately tonemapped in Photomatix to extract the detail from the wickerwork. Then layered, edited and recombined in Photoshop.
