Hello Old Friend

There's something about big old trees that just makes me feel instantly connected to them; it's like meeting someone and feeling like you've known them forever, almost like soulmates.  You see these trees that have stood there, years, generations, enduring the challenging seasons and feel awed.  I cannot help but reach out and touch these trees with reverence, as if to connect with its steadfast and ancient spirit to calm my own tumultuous one.

This is probably the first photo of myself that I'm posting, how crazy is that?  But I figured, if I'm going to try and promote body positivity and encourage people to enjoy and respect the outdoors on my Instagram account, it's high time I actually include myself in some of these photos.  And man is it challenging to photograph yourself!  Haha!  Hope you all don't mind :)
