Goldwater Sunset - a photo on Flickriver

Goldwater Sunset

            Sunset at Goldwater last night – It was beautiful sunset last night just after I took this. I think it may have been in a different direction too but I had moved to a new location by the time it happened. I will post that photo some other time. 

For now you get this one.
The technical – Shot on a Nikon D810 using a Tamron 24-70 zoomed to 40mm. ISO:64 f/18 and 1/8 sec. The exposure was set to the sky to keep my highlights under control. For me I prefer to be underexposed that lose highlights. Post edits down in Lightroom included increasing the shadows and adding contrast back in with the dehaze slider. I then did some local sharpening and smoothing and removed a little noise from the shadows. Overall that is about it fairly simple and took about 5 minutes.
