            The former John Watts & Son Carriage Factory (1870) in Easton's Corners, Ontario, Canada. 

From what I have read over the years on the Internet, the dates of this building's construction vary. Built around 1850 or 1870? 

Apparently a carriage building business was started by Robert G. Eastman in the 1850s in Easton's Corners. When he decided to move to nearby Merrickville to start up another carriage-making business, his business was purchased by John Watts and Sons who built this building around 1870. 

Apparently John Watts and Son's carriage building business was established around 1837 before this building was built. Where exactly it stood, I have no idea. 

Easton's Corners, often referred to as "Eastons Corners", was first settled by Joseph Easton in the 1790s, a late United Empire Loyalist, who was granted 1000 acres by the British government in 1792. At one point, the village comprised 3,200 residents.
