Photographer's Eyes (Part One) - Terra Nova S1821e

            Once you get more into photography, you will find some changes to your eyes. You see things differently and you find different things interesting compared to the others around you. 

There are two groups of photographers in the world.

The first group of photographers looks closely and carefully into the technical quality of the images. They will do anything to make the images perfect in terms of sharpness, exposure, colour rendition, resolution, print quality etc. Commercial or professional photographers and some of the amateurs fall under this group. Sometimes they do not have choice of the subject matter or even the decision about the approach to their subject because they need to satisfy their clients or the taste of judge panel in the photo competition. But they will try anything to excel in quality.

Viewers of their images are always amazed by the quality. And the question we will ask is: how better the image quality can be in their next images?

The second group of photographers just wants to show the viewers how they see the world. They shoot with all kinds of cameras and care little about quality. They choose their own subject and approach to the subject. They talk about essence of their subjects (event, place, people).

The viewers are always asking: How they see the world in the next image or how they see this place, this person or this object?

I think Cartier-Bresson and André Kertész are examples of these photographers.

I am not belonging to the first or the second group of photographers but just a silly photo buff admiring philosophy and simplicity, and shooting mundane objects. :o)
