Definitiv einen Blick wert ist die kuiose Linde auf der Burgruine Lauenberg. Wie der Name bereits verrät, wächst die häufig als „Hexenbaum“ bezeichnete Linde auf der Ruine der Burg Lauenberg. Genauer gesagt bildet die Linde mit Ihren Wurzeln ein Tor und ragt mit Ihren ausgeprägten Wurzeln über die Mauern der Ruine. Das Areal mit zwei Burgen, der großen Lauenburg (die Hauptburg) und der kleinen Lauenburg (der Vorburg), liegt oberhalb von Stecklenberg zwischen Thale und Bad Suderode. Der hier angewendete Lightpaintingeffekt war übrigens einer spontanen Laune entsprungen.

Definitely worth a look is the curious lime tree on the castle ruins of Lauenberg. As the name suggests, the lime tree, often referred to as the “Witch Tree”, grows on the ruins of Lauenberg Castle. More precisely, the lime tree with its roots forms a gateway and with its distinctive roots protrudes over the walls of the ruin. The area with two castles, the large Lauenburg (the main castle) and the small Lauenburg (the suburbs), is located above Stecklenberg between Thale and Bad Suderode. By the way, the lightpaintingeffect used here had sprung from a spontaneous mood.
