The Royal Warrant

            Thomas Russell & Son were watch and clockmakers, based in Liverpool from 1840-1906, who were granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1884.  A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household. 

This is part of the movement from a silver pocket watch dating back to the late 19th century.
