Use of one of my images on a highway billboard.—Unfortunately, the graphic design on this billboard screams 'amateur' ...suffice to say I had nothing whatsoever to do with the design. Starting with the general choice of white text on light, pastel-blue background, which is of low contrast and thus hard to read, especially when going at 110km/h (68mph); the choice of colour also blends into the sky, depending on the time of the day. The designer used no less than four different typefaces on the same billboard (five, if you cant the typeface on the left photo), incl. the rather awkward choice of a serif-font for part of the webadress. Then there is the clown's pants appearance of the imagery where washed-out race horses ride towards a sunset with cows, and the  odd placement of the "G'day Gundagai" slogan (groan!) with a slanting speech bubble that seems to point to nowhere-land. In my view, the best design part of the whole ensemble is the small logo  of the company that runs these billboards...

Depending on the time of day, the billboard is totally washed out in relation the background or the images are glaring at the driver.
