THE CASE OF THE SHATTERED ELBOW: A WATERCOLOR BY R.L.HUFFSTUTTER

            Due to the position of the man's arm, it appears he is knocking, like it is a speak-easy or that he's pressing a buzzer to enter. Not so, it is just a stiff elbow the man suffered from a wound during the war that makes him look strange when opening the door. 

Or it could have been a badly designed door. Why not a door that could be pushed?

 All of the factors that beset an artist who does not plan ahead or have a working knowledge of the elbow joint. Blah, blah. True, the suit is not Hong Kong tailored. In fact, it appears that he's wearing a pair of trousers that were shrunk by One-Hour Martinizing. 

He should have taken his suit to Charles Dupoir's Cleaners, right next-door to the Cozy
