Resistance - a photo on Flickriver

Resistance

            This is a shot from Seafield beach, near Kirkcaldy. The structure is the remains of a wall that was built as part of an abandoned plan to create a second harbour at Kirkcaldy. Over the years the sea has gradually reduced parts of the concrete wall to a jumble of broken blocks but much still remains, standing against the relentless tides.
