            Die Erdmännchen gehören zu den Mangusten. In der freien Wildbahn kommen sie nur im südlichen Afrika vor, dort leben sie in Familienverbänden. Diese kleinen Raubtiere ernähren sich von Insekten, Spinnen aber auch kleinen Säugetieren oder Reptilien.
