Home by Horror Haunted…—EA Poe - a photo on Flickriver

            Part of a housetop beneath the Wolf Moon penumbral Eclipse 2020. Rumour has it that this particular building might be haunted. It is located in the East End of Thessaloniki, Greece.

When the shot was captured, the moon was at a 52.7° altitude above the horizon and 371,437 km away. The dog was constantly howling, baying at the moon during shooting!

For a balanced exposure of both the housetop and the full moon’s penumbral eclipse, the necessary shutter speed was too slow to capture discernible details of the fast-moving lunar surface (which was in the penumbra, anyway).
