            A decayed old house is about to fall apart. The imminent danger of collapse is ever present as long as the doomed structure still stands.

‘Cottage needing renovation’ might well be a nightmarish euphemism for politicians to use for this building in such dystopian and trying times as the ones in A. Huxley'a Brave New World.
