A Clock Tower since 1894 №2 - a photo on Flickriver

            Shot of the bell/clock tower of the main church at Old (Palaeo) Mikro Chōrio in Evrytania, Greece. The stone tower was erected in 1894 as a benefactor’s donation. The nicety of the stonework is better displayed in black and white, without distraction caused by colour.

The church is dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior and is roofed with lead. It saved all the lives of the congregation’ attending members from the landslide occurred on January 13, 1963.
