You are looking at a part of some kind of small old film projector; the film reel. I found this "projector" years ago among the old junk in my late grandmother's attic. The item is electric, that is, it has a plug, but it doesn't look very solid, so I don't dare plug it in to see if it still works. Whether the thing works or not doesn't really matter to me, I just can't part with it because it fascinates me somehow.Not because the object is so beautiful, it looks rusty and worn and the design is not really beautiful, but I am curious about the stories behind it. I never saw the projector or heard stories about it when my grandmother was alive, and no one in the family can remember seeing it before. So it will remain a bit of a mystery.
