Senecio Fulgens - a photo on Flickriver

Senecio Fulgens

            De lejos parece un clavel  pero , es una flor de Senecio Fulgens, también llamado Kleinia Grantii… familia Asteraceae. Endémico de Madagascar.
Si os fijais hasta las hojas tienen este color grisáceo plata como los claveles....Llegó de Barcelona  por intercambio  de otra aficionada a las plantas crassas  y se me ha convertido en dos años en un bello ejemplar. Este año dio dos ramilletes  con un máximo de cuatro flores  cada uno, pero no estuvieron abiertas al mismo tiempo .Tampoco podía sacar fotos,  debido a que  estuvo lloviendo continuamente.
 Por fin pude tomar una imagen relativamente clara. Ya veis  son  flores de color naranja intenso.
Mis otras variedades son de color rojo y pertenecen a la variedad  S. stapeliformis.  Pongo la foto de esta última, porque se observa también el interesante perfil
