Maremma generosa

            Gru nell'area contigua alla Riserva Naturale della Diaccia Botrona. Sullo sfondo la Casa Rossa e il borgo antico di Castiglione della Pescaia. I terreni sono stati venduti dalla precedente Amministrazione Provinciale a privati con il pericolo che ne sia cambiata l'originaria destinazione a seminativo, con la conseguenza che uccelli migratori come le gru e le oche selvatiche non verranno più in questi siti. L'attuale Amministrazione provinciale, anche per la pressione di associazioni ambientaliste, si è impegnata a porre vincoli di coltura nel prossimo piano territoriale. Me lo auguro unitamente all'Associazione Maremma Pro Natura OdV, di cui faccio parte.

Cranes in the area adjacent to the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve. In the background the Red House and the ancient village of Castiglione della Pescaia. The lands were sold by the previous Provincial Administration to private individuals with the danger that their original destination may to arable land have changed in another destination, with the consequence that migratory birds such as cranes and wild geese will no longer come to these sites. The current provincial administration, also due to pressure from environmental associations, has undertaken to put cultivation constraints in the next territorial plan. I hope so together with the Maremma Pro Natura OdV Association, of which I am a member.
