1938 Ford V8 brandweerwagen

            In 1938 werden 2 identieke Ford brandweerwagens geleverd aan de gemeente Westzaan (NL).
Een van de 2 is door de Duitsers gevorderd in de 2e wereldoorlog en is in 1944 verloren gegaan bij een geallieerd bombardement op Berlijn.
Deze wagen, op de foto, heeft de oorlog wel doorstaan, mede doordat de wielen waren verstopt voor de Duitsers.
De wagen is nu in particulier bezit en rijvaardig.
