Grand Haven Pier in Winter - a photo on Flickriver

            On a last-minute whim I drove out to Grand Haven, Michigan on an evening with 25+ mph winds and single-digit windchills and captured this scene about 15 minutes before the sun went down.

This shot stayed very sharp even though I was dealing with these winds and left my tripod in the car like a ninny. Thank-you Nikon's VR lens!!
