Lake Lanier Early Morning Panorama (0759)

            For a change I created this panorama of the lake about 25 minutes before sunrise!  I had just set up my camera, expecting it would be a while before the skies would really light up, but the low cloud deck caught fire early today.  

This image captured the beautiful red hue at the horizon, the soft peach colored orange sky above, and the contrasting silhouette of the tree's in the foreground.  I don't often think of shooting these wide images, but they give a much better feel for just how beautiful the scenery is across the landscape.
