Floating Dock @ Lake Lanier (1219) - a photo on Flickriver

            A warm foggy morning out at the lake (Lake Lanier in Georgia) this morning provided some subtle but wonderful color shades.  There was no one around to ask me why I wanted to photograph fog :).  Of course once I outfitted my camera with my wide-angle lens a beautiful blue heron landed just to my right, at the waters edge.  At the same time a fast moving red fox appeared out of nowhere, mouth filled with something no longer moving, as it ran into the woods to my left!  Still, this is why I come to the lake, to slow down and to enjoy nature....
