            This is our friend John Zimmer, taking Rosie for a walk. They are on Duncan Street, near Edward Court and looking west toward Ott Street. Rosie came to live with us in March 2006, so this was one of her first autumn images of that year. She was probably 2 years old at the time.
Rosie had a great life, chasing squirrels, digging holes (in the garden), eating figs, enjoying tummy-tums, going to the dog-park, where for a good while she was clearly the fastest one of the lot, and where she was an obediance school dropout. She began to decline a couple years ago, and she died here in the house on the evening of June 23, 2020. I buried her outside our kitchen stoop, with lilies.
