            Old warehouses at the head of the harbour, now converted into flats.

Newport Harbour at the junction of the River Medina and Lukely Brook was the main harbour for the Isle-of-Wight until the railways and improved facilities at Cowes as well as the containerisation of goods meant that goods for the Island arrived by other means meant that by the 1960s only a small amount of commercial activity remained and the main activity is now leisure.
