My very first experience with the beautiful Aurora Borealis. I shot this at 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013. What an incredible feeling to experience such beauty in the quiet of the night. I even had an owl singing to me in the distance. The orange glow towards the bottom of the sky is unfortunately light pollution, but I was blessed to see it nonetheless!
