A very close look at 7 Pups on a very thorny Prickly Pear Cactus paw

One or two pups, yes. But here are seven in a row on this well-fortified Cactus pad or paw. In a few days they will turn yellow and then a blazing red. A beautiful sight to see and, of course, I will be revisiting and rephotographing this delightful piece of Nature's art! Makes me laugh whenever I think about it.
