Some of you may know I am a big animal lover and am also vegan. I usually avoid going to the zoo, even though I have one a couple of miles away that is free if you bike there and don't need parking. I do get a little sad that the animals are not in their natural habitats and I find myself spending an inordinate amount of time wondering if I were one of them and I had to choose between being taken care of and living a life of leisure without worrying about becoming prey, would I do this instead of freedom and risk being killed and eaten? It's a tough choice.

In any case, I really love the anime show, Aggretsuko about a red panda that works a demeaning job day after day and her karaoke raging at night. Now, she's also running for office in Japan in the newest season. So, when I found out I could see a red panda in real life a couple of miles away, I couldn't resist.

On another note, I often only photograph cats but I photographed a few other animals recently so this week is going to be a bit different in terms of my stream.
