Living and nonliving

What if instead of red, 
Your veins were filled with blue
Not deoxygenated blood but

The stuff of sea and sky
What if there were actual thought clouds
Drifting through the sulci of your mind

Could you keep all your memories
Floating and ready to grab
Whenever you need them?

Or do you have to make new ones 
Do you have to let that outside in
Stop being afraid now
