Deranged dude does dental duty in the drastically dessicated, dusty desert... 20090516_9832

            It has been my lifelong goal to brush my teeth in the desert, preferably on mud flats. In May 2009 I fulfilled this wish. I used Colgate's Double-Duty Desert Dentifrice, which is specially formulated for optimum performance in arid environments having occasional dust storms. 

Photographed next to the primitive dirt road that runs from the abandoned transcontinental railroad grade to Pigeon Mountain. I was trying to drive to Pigeon Mountain from the north, but it got too rough for the Green Weenie (my Sienna). I had to give up and retreat in disgrace. Fortunately, no one noticed my failure. Looking west, toward Lucin. Geotagging is approximate.
