            TransPennine Express Class 68  diesel 68025 Superb on the tail of 1F54, the 06.34 Scarborough to Manchester Piccadilly service. The train is passing non-stop through Slaithwaite station's staggered platforms. The Manchester-bound platform is hidden by the train while the photo was taken from the end of the Huddersfield-bound platform separated by Crimble Bank bridge number 62.

The width of the formation at this location is witness to the former LNWR Standedge route's quadruple-track status which reverted to double track in the late 1960s .
