Great Central Railway Swithland Leicestershire 2nd June 2021

            Another shot from the higher viewpoint on Swithland Sidings signal box steps as immaculate British Railways Standard 5 4-6-0 73156 cruises past with the 13.15 Quorn to Quorn Covid train. It was a very hot day so no condensed steam and as we were still using the smokeless Russian coal no smoke!

I wasn't bothering the signalman because the box was switched out. It also explains why the Down Section signal is pulled off, as were all the other main line signals in fact.
