LT150 Great Portland & Baker Street Stations London 20th January 2013

            After a black & white title shot at Barbican station, the third train of the Met 150 year anniversary steam special  - the 21.25 from Moorgate - runs through Great Portland Street station pulled by Metropolitan No 1 0-4-4T en route to Edgware Road with Metropolitan electric loco 12 Sarah Siddons bringing up the rear in the first clip. The train is made up of the Chesham set of Metropolitan Railway Bogie stock coaches (1898-1900) & the Metropolitan Railway Milk Van No. 3 (1896) 

The later sequence is the reverse recorded at Great Portland Street as the delayed 20.25 train returns to Moorgate. The delay had been caused by a points failure at Edgware Road so that the special had to proceed to Gloucester Road to reverse. By the third train everything was back on time.

Between these two scenes we partook of the excellent choice of beers in the pub immediately adjacent to Baker Street station in what was the Metropolitan Bar in the original HQ building of the Metropolitan Railway.
