Soho foundry chimney - a photo on Flickriver

            On the Birmingham Main Line Canal ...the humped bridge just before the chimney building is a listed roving bridge at the entrance to the Soho Foundry Loop canal (now dry) ...The chimney is part of the Soho Foundry works which was built in 1795 by Matthew Boulton and James Watt  at Smethwick, West Midlands to manufacture steam engines.
 It is now owned by Avery Weigh-Tronix, and used for the manufacture of weighing machines.

Wanted to give it an old look but did not like the sepia version so tried to make it have a more recent 70's retro feel..I have lots of old pictures I took in the 70's that have light leaks and streaks and stains just like this..digital processing is so clever!!
