Fratelli - Cacilhas- Almada - Lisbona - Portogallo

            Con  il traghetto si attraversa il fiume Tago e si arriva a Cacilhas, luogo pittoresco del comune di Almada.  
Cachilas fu un importante scalo fenicio e possedeva una fabbrica di conserva di pesce che, durante il I e III d.C., forniva il mercato locale ed altre province romane. Esistono due versioni riguardo l’origine del nome, la leggenda vuole che derivi dalla frase" Dá cá cilhas" (dammi le cinghie), utilizzata dai proprietari degli asini per preparare le carrozze per i turisti. Altra versione è che il suo nome derivi dal termine arabo "cacila" che significa mandria o il luogo dove si bruca. 
Situata sulle rive del fiume Tago, di fronte alla città di Lisbona, rappresenta un importante crocevia per i trasporti della regione, in quanto capolinea dei traghetti per l'attraversamento del fiume.
