Fence IR

            The rickety wooden fence at Barnbougle is a tribute to the old farm that the Lost Farm golf links course used to be. The farmer who owned the land decided at the turn of the millennium to develop the marginal farmland into two of the world's greatest links golf courses. Both The Dunes and Lost Farm are ranked in the top 100 courses in the world according the the US Golf Digest Magazine. 

Now that interstate borders have reopened more Australian golf tourists will take advantage of this superb layout. It is to be hoped that international travel will be able to recommence sometime soon.

The image here is an infra red taken on my converted compact camera. It is a black and white with colour toned sky, using the blue stream of the tone curve.

* Thank you to those well-wishers who responded to my "Bookmark" about travelling to visit my father in hospital in Melbourne. I have arrived safely, and will probably be here now for several weeks. Our aim it to get my father home for Christmas.
