Eagle in intense Stare - a photo on Flickriver

We had just driven into Serengeti NP, Tanzania and saw this Tawny Eagle sitting on the ground by the road. Usually when a bird gets startled it normally flies away, but this Tawny Eagle just sat there giving me an intense stare.
