Jung - a photo on Flickriver

Jung

Dit is de fabrieksplaat van de 1'C-machine "Spreewald". De locomotief is door Jung gebouwd voor de Pillkaller Kleinbahnen. Via de Spreewaldbahn van de Oostduitse Deutsche Reichsbahn kwam de machine bij de museumlijn Bruchhausen-Vilsen - Asendorf terecht. Momenteel is de loc uitgeleend aan de Sauerländer Kleinbahn. De locomotief is oorspronkelijk naar het verre oosten van het toenmalige Duite Rijk geleverd. Via omzwervingen is de loc steeds dichter bij de plek gekomen waar zij het levenslicht zag.

Het schaalmodel van de "Spreewald"van fabrikant LGB is heel populair. Die kleine kopie in de grote schaal 1:22,5 rijdt op menige tuinspoorweg en modelbaan.
