Marsh harrier - a photo on Flickriver

Marsh harrier

            We took a trip to a very windy RSPB Minsmere today. In strong winds marsh harriers, and many other birds, are not as active preferring to shelter from the wind so I was surprised to see quite a few marsh harriers in the air over the reedbed. Although most were distance this bird came close to one of the hides twice.
