Puppenspielers kleines Fest – Puppeteers small celebration

            Das Foto zeigt eine Szene des Ensemble KhaoNiew (Laos) beim „Kleinen Fest im großen Garten“ in Hannover.  Das Ensemble arbeitet mit Masken, die sie an Händen, Ellenbogen-Gelenken, Knien und am Körper haben”. Eine Mischung aus Puppen-, Marionetten-, Objekt - und Schattentheater.
Das „Kleine Fest im großen Garten“ hat in Hannover Kultcharakter. Die Künstler spielen zwischen Hecken, auf Wiesen und an Teichen. Besucher bringen Picknickkörbe mit und flanieren vom einer Bühne zur nächsten. Jeder Abend endet mit einem Feuerwerk. Der Große Garten mit seinen Wasserspielen ist illuminiert. Die Herrenhäuser Gärten zählen zu den bedeutendsten Barockgärten Europas.
