Final Days of the Farmers Grain Coop

            Ogden Utah USA 2024.  Failed shot of the grain silos coming down in Ogden.  Shot with Graflex Miniature Speed Graphic from late 1945.  2x3 on Agfa Aviphot 200 aerial recon film from 2006.  Mounted on Mamiya 70mm film holder in bad shape.  Lens was 90mm Wollensak Optar in Rapax f/6.3 shutter.  Shat at f/11 and 1/125 on a cloudy day.  Film rated at ISO 125.

This was actually supposed to be a test shot for the camera back and for a techniques to develop the 70mm film.  I rigged up a developing skirt out of a fiberglass net material -- which is evident in the photo.  Failed, don't try it lol.  If that wasn't bad enough I forgot to replace the dark slide or close the lens before changing the speed settings on the focal plane shutter.  Which resulted in a wild double or more exposure....

Developed in Kalogen 1:100 stand for 60 minutes and fixed in Ilford Rapid 1:4.  

But the results are a building being torn down and a lot of chaos in and around the photo.  Feels ominous a bit haunting and totally appropriate given the loss of a landmark building that has stood since the 1930s or 40s.  

So what the heck, I'm posting it.  More failure to follow.
