Eataly - My piatto di pesce affumicato

Mmm, possibly one of the best smoked fish I've had. I had a plate with smoked tuna, salmon and swordfish drizzled with thick olive oil. The smokey flavour was light, not overpowering the flavour of the fish. I like the swordfish best.

Last Thursday, Kathya and I went to Eataly in Torino for lunch - for more info on Eataly, Mark wrote a good summary.

Wow, what an experience! I've been to Eataly a couple of times before, when I worked in Torino, but coming here with Kathya, who is so so passionate about food, well, her excitement was contagious! We lost our heads in that place. All that good food under one roof!

We sauntered around the market, then went for our first course lunch (vegetarian), then shopped some more, before going for our second course lunch (fish), back to shopping, then finally a coffee at the bar :)

We bought some food from Eataly for our little train picnic and went off to catch our train to Massa... The journey and stories continue... :)
