Mission EAST 2017: Prelude

Finally - more people photos, more story photos and more new camera photos! :)

VII Podlaski Piknik Militarny "Misja WSCHÓD" (eng.: 7th Podlasie Military Picnic 'Mission EAST') took place at June 16-18th, 2017. I visited a small exhibition at Kościuszko Market Squere in Bialystok (June 16th) and the main event in Ogrodniczki (June 18th). The Picnic attracted thousands of people, many reconstruction groups, vehicles and heavy equipment. It was the very first time I was shooting at a mass event - and a great occasion to test my new EOS 80D camera in, well... the battle conditions. ;)

This is going to be the main subject of photos uploaded by me for next 2 months (of course, not the only one - portraits and street captures will be presented here too!). I'm not going to upload them all at once, so you will have much time to feast your eyes. I will post photos in chronological order. Of course, being a cynic military historian per se means photos will be often accompanied by lousy dark military-like humour. Deal with it. :)

This photo I took almost in the end of my 2-hours lasting walk. I thought it would be a nice album cover photo.
